The Swiss System

The first round is seeded based on SportyHQ rating points. All players then proceed to the second round where first round winners are pitted against other first round winners, losers are pitted against losers, and so on. No player is paired up with the same opponent twice.

In an 8 person draw each player is guaranteed three matches. Above 8 entrants in a section, some players will get four matches.
